5* Resort Launch

The beautiful islands of Cape Verde are home to some of the most luxurious resorts in the world. We got the opportunity to be part of the launch of not only a stunning new 5* resort, but the opening of a vibrant beach club, the first of it's kind in the area. 43 of us were flown over, including 35 performers, 3 management staff from Evolve, as well as 5 musicians from our sister company AFISHAL Music, to take part in a 2 days of events.

Llana Beach Resort

The first event that took place was the opening of Llana Beach Resort, on the island of Sal. Surrounded by golden sands and stunning views, this resort offers a luxurious break for adults only and the launch night was glamorous and sofisticated.

Guests were greeted on arrival by our red carpet lady and red showgirls, before taking a glass of champagne from our LED roaming table showgirls and further down the resort were our beautiful tux and tail hostesses, showing guests where to go. The first section of the evening happened beside the pool, where guests were entertained by a contact juggler, a clockwork ballerina, and even some mermaids swimming in the pool!

Speeches were made by various members of the company and resort, before an amazing array of performers paraded guests to the restaurant area for a wonderful three course buffet meal. Performers in the parade included: zorb balls, butterflies on stilts, mini ringmasters, circus burlesque artists, acrobats, a human leopard, showgirls, musicians, model hostesses, dancers and animals!

A visually spectacular glitterball contortion show followed on from Jamelia's performance after the dinner, as well as ambient mix and mingle from all other performers using our LED frames (as the sun had set by this point). The party section of the night then got started on the main stage, as Jetstream kicked off the last section of the night in style. During their performance, aerial silk aritsts framed the stage, performing elegant moves as well as exciting drops.

Entertainment continued into the night from a variety of celebs including Rough Copy and Alesha Dixon as our performers mingled with the guests. AFISHAL performed his amazing DJ drum show on stage alsongside and MC, sax player and violinist, and was joined by our sexy sparks girls and LED dancers to really round the performance off and create a show to remember. The evening finished with a performance from Jason Derulo and a spectacular fireworks display.

Bikini Beach Club

The second day of launch events saw the opening of the unique Bikini Beach Club. This club opens from midday and stays open until the small hours, offering food and drink, a VIP area with jacuzzis, and a pool for guests to enjoy as they party the night away.

The theme of this event was #theunexpected, and our brief was to supply entertainment that was weird and wonderful, mixed in with sexy beach vibes. We love this kind of brief as it gives us the opportunity to come up with some truly amazing concepts and ideas. Guests were greeted by 'Under The Sea' stilt walkers, body painted models, and little cloud people! Our stunning Victoria Secret inspired angels had photos with guests, helped with the ribbon cutting, and escorted the CEO into the main area. They also danced on the podiums in heaven, which meant that guests in all areas could see them.

The vibe of the night was really relaxed and throughout the event we had a mixture of ambient & mix and mingle entertainment. Our armchair acrobats treated guests to a comical acrobatic show, where a guest would sit in the chair and the acrobats would create shapes around the guest. 'Under The Sea' characters roamed around, mingling with guests as well as dancing on the speakers. Mermaids posed on podiums in the middle of the pool as guests partied in the water.

Later in the evening our gorgeous pole dancer performed a white tribal style routine on and around the pole, which was situated at the water's edge. Our LED Martini Glasses lined the pool and guests were treated to ambient sets from our amazing sexy martini girls while the music and drink flowed!

Our latex army dancers performed a military style routine in latex costumes, which we had made to match the brand colours of the club perfectly. The night's entertainment concluded with a spectacular fireworks display, in time to the music, and guests then partied the night away.
